1. General
1.1 By booking and/or participating in an escape room game (the “Activity”), you (“the Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Brixham Escape Rooms reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Brixham Escape Rooms.
2.2 Full payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
2.3 Bookings are non-transferable without the prior written consent of Brixham Escape Rooms.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
3.1 Cancellations made 24 hours before the scheduled booking may be eligible for a refund or reschedule, at Brixham Escape Rooms’ discretion.
3.2 No-shows or late arrivals (more than 15 minutes) may result in the booking being forfeited without refund.
4. Participation and Safety
4.1 Participants must arrive on time for the briefing and safety instructions.
4.2 The minimum age for participation is 11 years, unless otherwise stated. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
4.3 Participants must follow all instructions provided by staff. Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.
4.4 The Company reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who behaves in a disruptive or unsafe manner.
5. Health and Liability
5.1 The Activity involves physical and mental challenges. Participants should ensure they are in suitable health to participate.
5.2 Pregnant individuals, or those with medical conditions (including but not limited to epilepsy, heart conditions, or anxiety disorders), should consult a doctor before participation.
5.3 Participation is at the Participant’s own risk. The Company accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to property, except where caused by the Company’s negligence.
6. Confidentiality
6.1 Participants agree not to disclose, share, or record any details of puzzles, game content, or solutions.
6.2 No photography, video, or audio recording is permitted inside the escape room.
7. Property and Damage
7.1 Participants must endeavour not damage any equipment, props, or fixtures within the escape room.
7.2 Participants are responsible for the cost of any deliberate or reckless damage caused during the Activity.
8. Personal Belongings
8.1 Lockers or storage may be provided, but Brixham Escape Rooms accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
